Chardonnay is a grape variety that grows in a broad spectrum of climates. In colder climate, such as in Québec, the wine develops a more pronounced aroma of apples with a hint of citrus. The rocky soils of Domaine Les Brome’s vineyard, also adds mineral characteristics to this chardonnay.
The aging in American and French barrels (30% new barrels) gives this wine a beautiful smooth texture with hints of vanilla. The Reserve Chardonnay 2011 is a delicate and buttery wine which pairs well with asparagus dishes, fish, and chicken in creamy sauce.
Its aromas just blend in your mouth.
