The Riesling is a late-ripening variety that produces smaller berries. It is known to have a strong resistance to cold temperatures. Half of Reserve Riesling is aged in stainless steel tank and the other half is being barrel fermented and aged on its lees for 12 months. Riesling is a noble grape varietal widely grown around the world.
The vintage 2012 is a dry, well-refined white wine echoing aromas of white peach, pink grapefruit, clover honey with a hint of petrol.
It is the perfect match for veal, firm cheeses and fish.
What an interesting and very riesling wine, with its infamous petrol character and explosion of honey and fruity aromas on the nose. Vincent Marissal, La Presse, September 12, 2012
